Dewey Huang is a Chinese songwriter, music producer, arranger, and guitarist based in New York City. Inspired by Brazilian jazz and modern Neo-soul/R&B, Dewey has developed a signature style combining musical sophistication with soulful groove.

Graduated with a master’s degree from New York University's prestigious Songwriting Program(MM 25’), he has been honing his craft under the mentorship of renowned songwriter-producers Phil Galdston(Celine Dion) and Barry Eastmond(Diana Ross, Billy Ocean). He has received a Scholar Award from the Songwriting Hall of Fame and was named one of the 11 recipients of the 2024 Johnny Mercer Songwriting Intensive.

As a songwriter and producer, Dewey has released 6 singles under his artist profile. His original Bossa Nova 'Things Only I Know' was nominated as Indie Song of the Year at 2025 Asian Music Festival.​​​​

As an arranger, Dewey has written over 100 scores for various scales of ensembles, including pop/jazz small band, string quartet, horn section, and full orchestra, covering a wide range of genres. Besides his work with indie artists, He has worked with Asian Music Festival and the Budapest Symphony Orchestra. Dewey has performed his projects at some of New York's most iconic venues, including La Mama ETC, The Bitter End, Green Room 42, and Ray Angry's Producer Mondays.
